WHY BLACK TEAMS ARE DIFFERENT

MORE COMPETITION.
MORE EXPOSURE.
MORE ACCOUNTABILITY.

Black Teams are formed from top-performing athletes within Dream FC who are ready for elevated competition. These teams compete in 3–4 high-level regional or national tournaments selected specifically for competitive quality and collegiate visibility. This pathway is designed for players who consistently perform, demonstrate leadership, and embrace high standards.

Compared to most clubs, Dream FC athletes receive:

  • More intentional training (not just volume)

  • More club-wide skill development led by directors

  • More planned rest and balance built into the calendar

  • More transparent programming families can trust

Below is a full look at what Dream FC players receive.

• 3–4 Regional/National Showcase Events
• Compete Against Top Clubs & Academies

• Elevated Training & Match Standards

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF A BLACK TEAM ATHLETE?

Black Teams are designed for players who are ready to operate at a higher competitive standard.

With elevated competition comes elevated responsibility.

Black Team athletes are expected to:

  • Maintain strong attendance and punctuality

  • Train and compete with consistent intensity

  • Demonstrate leadership and professionalism

  • Balance academics, high school soccer, and club commitments responsibly

  • Embrace accountability and constructive feedback

This pathway is not simply about playing stronger opponents — it is about raising personal standards.

Black Team athletes represent Dream FC at regional and national events. How they prepare, compete, and carry themselves matters.

Selection to a Black Team is an opportunity — and a responsibility.
